Kicker panels are what they sound like – the panel located between the base of your cabinet and the floor. They are typically screwed in from the top of the base cabinet into the kicker panel and ensure a nice clean finish to your base cabinets.
We advise to always oversize these panels so that you have the ability to cut or scribe them in, in the event that your cabinets or floors are not perfectly level to each other. The kicker panel should be as long as possible to ensure you have as few joins as possible. Typically, the colour will match your doors but sometimes not – some clients choose to have a contrast, but it is up to you as to the overall finish that you would like. Maximum panel lengths are 2400mm – they can be custom sized but you will need to contact us to chat more about this.
